Wanderlust Tremblant 2017

I had a such a great time leading 4 workshops at Wanderlust Tremblant this August. Here are some photos from our hikes. If you came and journaled some of the questions we asked were: What is your biggest dream? What do you long for? What do you love? If time and money were of no concern, what would you do? Who would you be? I would love to hear about what came up for you, so send me a message. […]

Welcoming a New Year

The changing of a calendar year brings a wonderful opportunity to reflect. On the good, order the bad, ambulance and the in-between. It’s a nice time to look back and congratulate yourself on your successes, help and check-in to see where there may be room for improvement and growth.   It took me a few days into 2017, but I sat down and thought of a few highlights for my 2016 year: 3 trips to Cuba, including one sold-out yoga […]

Hollywood sign!

On the way out of LA I followed my gps as it led me, adiposity winding, erectile through impossibly small roads in the Hollywood hills. I was rewarded by a decent view of the sign. Thank goodness for the GPS, though, because it would have been impossible to find without it. The last baywatch style one is a blooper, as I ran back to the camera, but I thought it was a keeper.

Los Angeles: Hollywood, Venice Beach, Santa Monica

After the desert, and the loooong traffic to arrive, LA was quite literally a breath of fresh air. The streets were wide and there was vegetation everywhere, and the warm breeze was delicious after a week in the steady heat. I’m staying with long lost (well, no one is really lost thanks to the Fbook) who is here doing an internship as part of her (Harvard, just sayin’) MBA. After letting myself in to her spacious and airy apartment in […]

Vegas to LA- Peggy Sue’s 50’s Diner

I have to admit, I couldn’t get out of Las Vegas fast enough. A combination of the stifling heat and the bacchanal energy I suppose, but as I awoke hurriedly and packed my things, I had the sentiment of escaping a bad one night stand. I bid goodbye to my host, and went in search of coffee, ice, and groceries. Seems in North Vegas the only place offering this (everything being a 10 minute drive away, of course) is Walmart. […]

Day 9-The road to Zion

Well, one of the great things about traveling alone, and not planning every little detail, is that you can change your mind! So last night, as I decided where I was going to sta in the Grand Canyon, I realized I would prefer to go to the less popular/accessible North Rim. There’s almost nothing up there, and accommodations are slim so I splurged on a hotel room. In any case, instead of going through Flagstaff as planned, I was now […]

Wanderlust Part 2 – Colorado

The first day of Wanderlust was a bit difficult for me, I had a hard time adjusting to the altitude, and I felt headachey and sluggish. I was just in love with my cosy little room though, so I went to a few classes and rested up. Once I got into my groove, though, the days flew past in a blur. Highlights include (in no particular order): 1) Taking myself on a solo hike at the top of the mountain […]
